You also have the right to request the correction or deletion of this data. If you have given consent to data processing, you can revoke this consent at any time for the future. Storage period

Unless a more specific storage period has been specified within this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for the data processing no longer applies. If you assert a legitimate request for deletion or revoke consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law); in the latter case, deletion will take place after these reasons cease to apply.

General information on the legal basis for data processing on this website

If you have consented to data processing, we process your personal data on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. In the case of express consent to the transfer of personal data to third countries, data processing is additionally based on Art. 49 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. If your data is required for the performance of a contract or for pre-contractual measures, we process your data on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO. Furthermore, we process your data if necessary to fulfil a legal obligation on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c DSGVO. Data processing may also be carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

Revocation of your consent to data processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent you have already given at any time. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right to object to data collection in special cases and to direct marketing (Art. 21 DSGVO)

IF DATA PROCESSING IS CARRIED OUT ON THE BASIS OF ART. 6 PARA. 1 LIT. E OR F DSGVO, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT AT ANY TIME TO OBJECT TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA FOR REASONS ARISING FROM YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING BASED ON THESE PROVISIONS. THE RESPECTIVE LEGAL BASIS ON WHICH THE PROCESSING IS BASED CAN BE FOUND IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU OBJECT, WE WILL NO LONGER PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA CONCERNED UNLESS WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING WHICH OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, OR THE PROCESSING SERVES THE ASSERTION, EXERCISE OR DEFENCE OF LEGAL CLAIMS (OBJECTION PURSUANT TO ART. 21 PARA. 1 DSGVO).

Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority

In the event of violations of the DSGVO, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, their place of work or the place of the alleged violation. The right of complaint exists without prejudice to other administrative or judicial remedies. The supervisory authority responsible for the registered office of the controller is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Rhineland-Palatinate.

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done if it is technically feasible.

Information, correction and deletion

Within the framework of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to obtain free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of data processing, and, if applicable, the right to correction or deletion of this data. You can contact us at any time regarding this and any other questions on the subject of personal data.

Right to restriction of processing

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time for this purpose. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:

  • If you contest the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we usually need time to verify this. For the duration of the review, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
  • If the processing of your personal data has been/is being carried out unlawfully, you can request restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
  • If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it for the exercise, defence or assertion of legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of deletion.
  • If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21 para. 1 DSGVO, a balance must be struck between your interests and ours. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data – apart from its storage – may only be processed with your consent or for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or of a Member State.

SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as enquiries you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser address bar changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the padlock symbol in your browser bar.

When SSL/TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

4. Data collection on this website

Cookies

Our website uses cookies in part. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

We use technically necessary cookies that are required for the operation of the website – in particular a cookie named "NEXT_LOCALE" which stores your language choice (German, English or Polish) between page visits, and "cc_cookie" which stores your decision regarding the cookie banner. These cookies are essential for the basic functions of the website and are set on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a technically flawless website) or Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR in conjunction with § 25(2)(2) TTDSG.

In addition, we use consent-based cookies for reach measurement with Google Analytics 4. These cookies are only stored on your end device with your prior explicit consent given through our cookie banner. Details can be found in the "Analytics tools" section below. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TTDSG.

You can withdraw your consent to the setting of analytics cookies at any time with effect for the future by clicking "" in the footer of our website and adjusting your selection. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies, allow cookies only on a case-by-case basis, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files which your browser transmits to us automatically. These are:

  • browser type and browser version
  • operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • host name of the accessing computer
  • time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources.

The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically flawless presentation and optimisation of his website – for this purpose, the server log files must be recorded.

Inquiry form (contact and product enquiries)

If you send us an enquiry via the inquiry form on a product or vehicle page, the data you enter in the form and the contact details you provide will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. The following data is collected:

  • first and last name
  • email address
  • telephone number (optional)
  • your message
  • reference to the product or vehicle being enquired about (name, link, variant selection if applicable)

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, insofar as your enquiry is related to the fulfilment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries sent to us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO) or on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO), if this has been requested; the consent can be revoked at any time.

The data you enter in the inquiry form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Rental enquiry (motorhome booking form)

The rental enquiry form allows you to submit a non-binding enquiry for the rental of a motorhome. The same contact details as for the inquiry form are collected (name, email, optional phone number, message), plus the desired rental period (start and end date).

The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO (implementation of pre-contractual measures upon your enquiry). The data will be deleted as soon as the purpose of its processing no longer applies – i.e. at the latest when no rental contract results from the enquiry and no further questions remain open. If a contract is concluded, the retention periods under tax and commercial law apply.

Buyback form (vehicle purchase offer)

The buyback form allows you to offer a motorhome or caravan to us for sale. The form is multi-step. The following data is collected:

  • Contact details: first and last name, email address, telephone number (optional)
  • Inspection information: location of inspection or indication whether you wish to come to us, preferred date
  • Vehicle data: type (motorhome/caravan), manufacturer, model, year of construction, number of previous owners, equipment, date of last TÜV, last registration, last gas inspection and last tyre change, price expectation
  • Information about damage (accident damage, water damage, hail damage) and status information (registered, roadworthy, smoked in, pets), where applicable a description of other damage
  • Up to 20 photos of the vehicle that you can voluntarily upload

The photos are transmitted via a signed ("presigned") upload link directly to the object storage of our service provider Cloudflare R2 (see section "Cloudflare" below). Our system then creates an email with signed preview links valid for seven days and sends it to the internal processing address.

The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO (pre-contractual measures for the initiation of a possible purchase contract). We need the information about damage and status in order to be able to evaluate your vehicle seriously; without this information, a binding purchase assessment is not possible.

The transmitted data and photos are stored until the buyback process has been completed. If no purchase takes place, we will delete your information and the uploaded photos after completion of the review, at the latest after six months, provided that there are no statutory retention obligations. If a purchase is concluded, the retention periods under tax and commercial law apply.

Protection of our forms against abuse

In order to protect our forms against automated abuse (spam, bots), we use technical protective measures: an invisible "honeypot", a temporary limitation of requests per IP address (rate limiting) and the captcha solution Cloudflare Turnstile (see section "Cloudflare" below). The IP address is only evaluated briefly for abuse detection and is not stored permanently. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO (legitimate interest in protecting our website from abuse).

Enquiry by email or telephone

If you contact us by email or telephone, your enquiry, including all personal data resulting from it (name, enquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, insofar as your enquiry is related to the fulfilment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries sent to us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO) or on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO), if this has been requested.

The data you send us via contact enquiries will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.

5. Analytics tools

Google Analytics 4

This website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics 4. Provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google").

Google Analytics enables the website operator to analyse the behaviour of website visitors. The website operator receives various usage data, such as page views, time spent on site, operating systems used and origin of the user. This data may be combined by Google into a profile assigned to the respective user or their device.

Google Analytics 4 uses technologies that enable the recognition of the user for the purpose of analysing user behaviour (e.g. cookies or device fingerprinting). The information collected by Google about the use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

The use of this analytics tool is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time — click "" in the footer.

IP anonymisation

IP anonymisation is activated by default in Google Analytics 4. This means that your IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

Data transfer to the USA

The data transfer to the USA is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF). Google LLC is certified under the "EU-US Data Privacy Framework" and thus commits to complying with European data protection standards.

For more information on how Google Analytics handles user data, please see Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en

Order processing

We have concluded an order processing contract with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

Retention period

Data stored at Google at user and event level that is linked to cookies, user IDs or advertising IDs is automatically deleted after 14 months.

6. Plugins and tools

Cloudflare (Turnstile and R2)

We use services of the provider Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA ("Cloudflare") in two places on this website:

  • Cloudflare Turnstile as a captcha replacement to protect our forms (inquiry form, rental enquiry, buyback form) from spam and automated access. When a form is loaded, your browser establishes a connection to Cloudflare servers; during this process, technical information such as IP address, browser type and, if applicable, a cookie or "challenge token" is transmitted. Cloudflare states that the data is not used for tracking purposes.
  • Cloudflare R2 as an object storage for photos that you upload via the buyback form. The upload takes place directly from your browser to Cloudflare R2 via short-lived, signed URLs ("presigned URLs").

The legal basis for the use of Cloudflare is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. We have a legitimate interest in protecting our website against abusive automated access and in providing you with an upload function for vehicle photos. If a corresponding consent was requested, the processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO; the consent can be revoked at any time.

The transfer of data to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission as well as – where applicable – the certification of Cloudflare under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. A data processing agreement in accordance with Art. 28 DSGVO has been concluded with Cloudflare.

Further information on data protection at Cloudflare can be found at: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/

Resend (transactional email delivery)

For the delivery of internal notification emails that are sent to us as operators when one of our forms is submitted, we use the Resend service provided by Resend, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA. The content required for the delivery of the notification is transmitted to Resend: in particular your name, your email address (as reply-to), telephone number if applicable, your message, the product/vehicle reference and – for the buyback form – the signed links to the uploaded photos.

The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO (legitimate interest in reliable delivery of form content to us) or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, insofar as the transmission is necessary for the initiation or performance of a contract.

The transfer of data to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission as well as – where applicable – the certification of Resend under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. A data processing agreement in accordance with Art. 28 DSGVO has been concluded with Resend.

Further information on data protection at Resend can be found at: https://resend.com/legal/privacy-policy

OpenStreetMap / CARTO (Leaflet map)

On our contact or location page, we embed an interactive map. The map is rendered using the open-source library Leaflet; the map tiles are sourced from OpenStreetMap data and delivered via the CARTO service (© OpenStreetMap contributors, © CARTO). We explicitly do not use any mapping service from Google (Google Maps is not used on this website).

As soon as you call up a page with an embedded map, your browser establishes a connection to the servers of CARTO (Carto, B.V., Prinsengracht 769, 1017 JZ Amsterdam, Netherlands) in order to load the map tiles. In the process, technical data such as your IP address, the requested map section and browser information are transmitted. This data is processed on the servers of the respective provider. We have no further influence on this transmission.

The integration of the map is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. We have a legitimate interest in making our location easy to find.

Information on the copyright of the map data can be found at: https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright

YouTube

We embed YouTube content in two different ways. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (parent company Google LLC, USA).

1) Video list on the home page

On the home page, we display a selection of videos from our own YouTube channel. The video list itself (title, publication date, link) is loaded server-side from the public RSS feed of our channel – no user data is transmitted to Google in this process. However, the video thumbnails are loaded directly from the Google server "i.ytimg.com" into your browser. As a result, Google receives your IP address, browser information and the note that you have visited our home page, even without you having actively opened a video.

2) Embedded video players on detail pages

On the detail pages of individual vehicles, a video player may be available within the image gallery. This player is only loaded when you actively switch to the video element in the gallery. Only from this moment is a connection established to the YouTube servers (youtube.com/embed); Google then receives information about which of our subpages you have visited, your IP address and browser information. Google may also set cookies or comparable recognition technologies. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable Google to assign your surfing behaviour directly to your personal profile; you can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

The use of YouTube takes place in the interest of an appealing presentation of our vehicles. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. If a corresponding consent was requested, the processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO; the consent can be revoked at any time.

The transfer of data to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission as well as the certification of Google under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Further information on the handling of user data can be found in Google's privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en

Google Web Fonts (locally hosted)

This site uses the font families "Work Sans", "Poppins" and "Manrope" provided by Google (Google Fonts) for the uniform display of typefaces. They are integrated via the Next.js function "next/font/google": the font files are downloaded once at the time the website is built and are then delivered exclusively from our own server. No connection to Google servers takes place when visiting our website; your IP address is therefore not transmitted to Google in this context.

The use of fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our website. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
